FintechOS has been ranked in the Growth Stars category of Deloitte’s 2021 Technology Fast 50 programme for the Central Europe region. We’re delighted to be recognized for our exceptional revenue growth since our founding three years ago.

FintechOS began in June 2018, and has gone from strength to strength ever since. In the last year, we’ve experienced 450% growth, expanding to work with more than 50 partners across 20 markets. We now have offices in London, Amsterdam, Bucharest, and New York, and a 400-strong team.

In total, this amounts to a 715% growth since our initial funding round in 2018, a result which allowed us to be recognized as one of the tech companies included in the Growth Stars category of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 competition in 2021.

Our CEO, Teo Blidarus, explained how honored we were to be ranked in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 programme:

It’s exciting to see Deloitte recognize our phenomenal growth. We’re working hard to increase the number of customers we serve across the EU and US, while maintaining our organic growth and culture of innovation.

As we continue to expand, we plan to make 100 new hires in the USA, across product management, sales, marketing, and customer success. By the end of next year, our team will include over 400 people across the globe. As our CSO, Sergiu Negut elaborated:

Our rapid expansion so far has been thrilling to see, but it’s just the beginning. We always planned for FintechOS to be a global company and that’s our priority for the coming year. We start with the US, and from there we’re going to show customers what we can do in MEA and APAC. The sky’s the limit.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe competition, now in its 22nd year, ranks 50 fast growing technology companies, based on percentage revenue growth over the previous four years. In addition to the Fast 50 category, the competition includes the Companies to watch category, broken down into two subcategories: Growth Stars and Investment Stars.

Our VP of sales in EMEA, Todi Pruteanu further clarified why we are so proud to be included in the Growth Stars category.

To be part of this list of the fastest-growing young tech companies and start-ups, it takes ambition, dedication and vision. 2021 has been a difficult year for many organizations. Start-ups and scale-ups need support to grow. It’s heartening to be recognized for our exceptional growth, particularly since so many companies have struggled during this difficult time.

FintechOS was founded in 2018, so did not have financial data for 2017. This meant we weren’t eligible for the primary Fast 50 ranking. For the first time this year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 programme includes the Growth Stars category, showcasing 25 younger companies that show great potential but do not fulfill the criteria for the main Fast 50 ranking yet.

FintechOS was ranked 16th in the Growth Stars category for 2021, due to our exceptional 715% growth in the last three years. We credit this successful expansion to our strategy of creating a platform for high-productivity financial services architecture.

High-productivity happens when you achieve the value you need to at speed. Our platform allows banks, insurers, and anyone entering the financial services space to create innovative digital banking and insurance products fast, without having to wait for an expensive and complex digital transformation.

Our platform unlocks the potential of financial institutions and allows them to access markets they haven’t previously been able to enter as they were held back by legacy systems. This approach is drawing in financial institutions with a thirst for innovation and driving our growth.

We’re thrilled to see Deloitte recognize the expansion of our company, and we look forward to making our way onto the primary Fast 50 category in years to come.
