An important milestone for FintechOS: featured in Everest Group’s Innovation Watch on agentic AI in banking

FintechOS is featured in Everest Group’s latest Innovation Watch. Here is what the research measured, where it puts the near-term value for banks, and what it recorded about us.

We have exciting news to share. FintechOS is featured in Everest Group’s latest Innovation Watch: Agentic AI in Banking, and it is a strong signal of the momentum we are building in vertical AI for banking.

The research benchmarks 23 providers on market performance and ecosystem drivers. FintechOS performs on three of the counts that separate the field in this market: the maturity of our use cases, our industry partnerships and our growth activity. Each of the three has evidence behind it, and all three are part of one deliberate plan.

Everest Group is among the most influential research firms in technology and business services, and its read on where the market has reached is direct.

“Agentic AI in banking is moving from proof of concept into selective production. The constraint is no longer model capability but enterprise readiness. The providers that can evidence governed execution inside real banking workflows are the ones that will scale.”

Kriti Gupta, Vice President, Everest Group

Where the near-term value sits

The report puts near-term value for banks in workflow-intensive processes that stay under human supervision, rather than in fully autonomous decisioning or core transaction replacement. That is a more useful starting point than it first sounds. Fully autonomous decisioning is where the regulatory questions are hardest and the appetite is lowest. Supervised, workflow-intensive work is where the volume is, where the cost sits, and where a bank can move this year.

The research identifies five areas where FintechOS capabilities align:

  • Client onboarding and KYC orchestration
  • Credit underwriting workflow orchestration
  • Omnichannel customer servicing
  • Internal policy and knowledge assistance
  • Product and pricing query assistance

1. Maturity of use cases

Everest Group builds its assessments on fact-driven methodology rather than vendor claims, and that showed. On the maturity assessment, it separated pilot work from production rollouts and asked for customer outcomes evidence. That is a harder test than a capability checklist, and it is the right one. A demo proves a model can do something. A production rollout proves an institution will let it.

The agentic stack behind these use cases, and more, is governed end to end: policy guardrails, human oversight and full auditability under every agent.

  • Agentic Framework, the governed runtime beneath every FintechOS agent, carrying the control plane, the policy guardrails and the audit record
  • Dex, our agentic configuration copilot, which turns natural language intent into governed product, workflow, rule and connector configuration, and ships by default in every FintechOS 8 deployment
  • Agentic Workforce, the specialized agents for document processing, onboarding, credit risk and underwriting, with Agent Builder to add more under the same controls
  • MCP support, so agents act as client or server with every agent-to-agent call routed through orchestration for permissions and governance

What this means for banks

Banks do not adopt AI everywhere at once. They sequence it by risk, by readiness and above all by trust: first where the consequence of being wrong is smallest, then closer to the customer as the evidence accumulates. FintechOS 8 was built to follow that order rather than fight it, which is why our two adoption cases are build and run.

Build: agentic configuration

The first case is the solution build, where agents generate the solution itself. A mistake here costs us before it costs a customer, and every artifact is versioned, traceable to what produced it and accepted by a named reviewer before it ships. That makes it the right place for a bank to start.

One instantiation, measured end to end on a real personal loan origination workflow, on a live client delivery.

BY HAND400 hours, 80 for requirements and 320 for implementation, producing 27 components one at a time, with every later change request re-entering the same loop at 24 to 40 hours.
AGENTIC CONFIGURATION ON FINTECHOS 8The same reference workflow lands at 112 hours, a 72 percent reduction in per-workflow effort, with the forward deployed engineer reviewing every decisioning gate.

For a bank, that is a new product or business line live in weeks rather than a quarter, which is the difference between catching a rate window and reading about it.

Run: agents in operations

The second case is operations, where agents carry live work: document processing, KYC orchestration, onboarding, credit risk, underwriting, cross-channel servicing, and assistants that answer policy and pricing questions. All of it runs inside policy, with human gates and an audit trail behind every action.

One instantiation, intelligent document processing in UK mortgage origination.

BY HANDA self-employed application pack takes an underwriter around 2 hours to read, from trading accounts and business banking through to SA302, the tax year overview, payslips and P60, before anyone can decide anything.
IDP ON FINTECHOS 8The document processing agent returns a decision-ready case file in about 3 minutes, roughly 40 times faster, with 17 reconciliation pairs checked automatically and the evidence attached to each.

For the applicant, that is a decision the same day rather than next week. Poor scans still route to a person, and the underwriter still owns the affordability judgment, as FCA and MCOB require.

Neither case changes who decides. The forward deployed engineer still reviews every gate, and the underwriter still owns the affordability call. What the agents took away was the work in front of the decision, not the decision itself.

2. Industry partnerships

We partner in every category that matters to a bank. On the hyperscaler and model side, we hold Microsoft’s Certified Software Designation for Financial Services AI, our data and AI collaboration with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud expanded in 2026, and our platform is listed on both marketplaces. Fiserv and Finastra partner with us on banking modernization. Deloitte and Tech Mahindra bring the consulting and delivery capacity to take all of it into production at scale.

Partnerships are one half of an ecosystem. The other is reach. Through more than 50 connectors, our agents call the identity, fraud, credit, payments, compliance and data augmentation services a bank already depends on, integrated once and reused across every deployment.

3. Growth and investments

We committed our R&D to a new platform generation. FintechOS 8 is anchored in agentic product operations and carries several years of that work, and the four products above all ship inside it.

Commercially, FintechOS has reached profitability, along with 40% year-on-year recurring revenue growth as of the end of Q1 2026, driven primarily by rapid expansion in the United States and continued momentum in EMEA. Profitable growth is uncommon in this category, and it is the base the next phase is being built from.

We are also investing in the people who build on the platform, through our new Academy and copilot-led enablement for teams at banks, at partners and inside FintechOS.

One plan, converging

That is the deliberate plan. Several years of investment in governed agentic AI, and the platform, the solutions, the partners and the business have arrived at the same point at the same time.

The report confirms the capabilities, solutions and partnerships behind our position as an emerging leader in agentic AI for banking. FintechOS 8 opened a new chapter for our company. With agentic AI foundational to our banking solutions, we are simply achieving things that were not possible before, for us and for our customers. And we are only getting started.
