Senior Presales Consultant

We need a sharp, autonomous presales consultant who can walk into a room with a CTO or Chief Insurance Officer and make them rethink their entire product lifecycle strategy. Not with slides – with substance. You’ll come from an insurance platform background (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, EIS, Sapiens) where you’ve already done the hard yards proving why legacy modernization matters and how AI-powered platforms accelerate innovation across underwriting, claims, and policy administration.

This is a high-impact role: you’ll own the technical narrative in deals, architect AI-driven solutions that transform how insurance products are built and managed, and work directly with our most ambitious prospects across UK and Europe. If you’re tired of cookie-cutter demos and want to show how AI actually changes the game for insurance product teams, keep reading.

What You Will Do

  • Own the business value and technical win in enterprise deals – from pitching, scoping workshops through live demos, POCs, and commercial structuring
  • Demonstrate how FintechOS’s AI-first ProductOps approach transforms insurance product velocity, from concept through underwriting, distribution, and continuous optimization – not just launch
  • Show insurers how to break free from legacy policy administration and claims system constraints, modernizing their entire product lifecycle with composable, AI-powered architecture
  • Build credibility fast with senior stakeholders (CTOs, Chief Insurance Officers, Chief Digital Officers, Heads of Product) by speaking their language and challenging their assumptions with AI-driven insights
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery to shape winning proposals that showcase our AI capabilities in real insurance scenarios
  • Prototype rapidly when needed to prove AI-powered use cases (we’re technical, you should be too)
  • Travel across UK, Europe, and Romania to run workshops, present at events, and work embedded with teams

What We Are Looking For

You must be UK-based with right to work in the UK. Beyond that, here’s what matters:

  • 4–5 years in presales or solutions consulting for an insurance platform vendor (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, EIS, Sapiens, or similar SaaS/platform vendor)
  • Hands-on technical chops: you understand API architectures, can read code, and have built or configured insurance platform solutions yourself (not just presented them)
  • You’ve closed deals – and can articulate how you influenced the technical win, navigated objections, and shaped the commercial outcome
  • Deep fluency in how insurers modernize product operations: legacy policy administration constraints, claims transformation, underwriting automation, product lifecycle challenges, time-to-market pressures, and cloud-native transformation
  • Curious about AI and how it’s reshaping insurance product development – even if you’re not an AI expert yet, you’re eager to learn and articulate the value
  • Comfortable traveling 40–50% of the time across UK, Europe, and Romania
  • Self-starter mentality: you don’t wait for instructions, you see the gap and fill it

What Makes You Stand Out

  • You’ve worked specifically with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or EIS – and can speak to their strengths and limitations from real implementations
  • Experience articulating how AI, machine learning, or automation accelerates insurance product development, underwriting decisions, claims processing, or operational efficiency
  • Track record of winning competitive deals against Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Unqork, Socotra, or other platform incumbents in the insurance space
  • You’ve built custom demos or POC environments from scratch
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, composable architecture, ProductOps methodologies, or AI-powered development tools
  • Vertical depth in P&C insurance, life and annuities, specialty/commercial lines, or reinsurance product development
  • You’ve presented at industry events (e.g., InsureTech Connect, Insurance Innovators), contributed to RFP responses that won, or built thought leadership content that influenced buyers
