New Capabilities in FintechOS Evolv
1. Smarter, Faster, and More Configurable Workflows
We continued investments in our Workflow Engine to enable teams to build complex, highly customized journeys and business processes – all without writing code.
Key Workflow Designer Enhancements
- Structured data domains: fully define data objects, dictionaries, relations and cardinality, and an extended list of attributes at workflow level.
- Integration catalogue: design time access to all Data Core and DCI integrations.
- Service catalogue: design time access to all Product Factory and Composable Back-Office services.
Key UI Designer Updates
- New controls like sliders, collapsible titled panels, and flexible button behaviors.
- New configurations over user inputs, helping ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and better end-user experience.
(New) Logic Block Designer
- Define and manage complex logic for UI and data without writing code, or by combining no-code and low-code approaches. Examples: complex conditions based on flow data, same logic triggered by multiple events, multiple logic blocks on the same event.
- Visual tool that helps define how a solution behaves in response to user actions or data changes. This is especially powerful for building dynamic customer journeys without heavy reliance on development teams.
2. Modern, GIT-driven development experience, architecture alignment with the no-code capabilities, and various low-code improvements
The developer experience just got better with FintechOS. You asked, we have delivered.
(New) Local Development Sandbox
- Dedicated environment (based on Kubernetes) on the developer machine that mirrors the shared development setup of the team. It enables parallel development, allowing multiple developers to work on the same components or files independently—without conflicts or interference. This setup supports faster testing, debugging, and iteration, while maintaining stability in the shared environment.
- Full GIT integration for source control.
- Real-time view logs from App Insights in developer console.
CI/CD Enhancements
- Package and deploy Business Rules (logic defined using formulas) as part of your CI/CD pipeline: for example, a premium calculation rule defined with the Formula Engine can now be tracked and deployed like code.
- Service accounts deployment: easily import or export system-level user credentials across different Digital Assets (FintechOS packaging units), improving portability and reusability.
- Support for hotfix deployment: focused deployment of solution packages that contain actual changes and are flagged as hotfix, using CLI.
- GIT CI/CD actions for building and deploy in CI/CD staging: trigger build and deployment actions directly from GIT-based workflows.
Code Architecture
- Define endpoints, parameters, and grant roles for Business Service Components routes
3. Incremental updates to Product Factory and Composable Back-Office
Product Factory
- New product type templates: FintechOS now includes more than 30 distinct product templates across banking and insurance verticals, e.g. secured/unsecured lending, general insurance etc.
- Product APIs: new set endpoints to expose product and offer details, including pricing, underwriting, and eligibility rating indicators, with enhanced validation and error handling mechanisms.
- Seamless product export/import between different environments: export/import of formulas, datasets, lexicon terms, and option sets, while improving validation and reuse within the product context.
- Enhance e2e experience for complex products with complex formula: improves formula and configuration management by enforcing product-level scoping, enabling cloning, versioning, and editing.
- Structured Lexicons: out-of-the-box, industry-specific lexicons, to enable classification of terms using pre-defined categories.
Composable Back Office (specifically for core insurance use cases)
- Bulk Operations Enhancements in Policy Admin: specific improvements, including areas such as start date changes and Excel-based policy import and cancellations.
- API Improvements in Policy Admin: for example, to automate payment correction, payment allocation and approve cancellations.
- Task Management: possibility to group tasks for a business case, new APIs and simplified settings for more straightforward setup and maintenance.
- Future-Dated Policies: the ability to generate future-dated policies under a master contract.
- Backdate Coverage Updates: alteration types now support retroactive updates for coverage and insured objects.
- Installment Due Dates Definitions: for additional premium payments during alterations.
4. Evolution of Data Core, a cloud native data integration platform to securely connect any service, data or system, with exceptional lead time for new data products and integrations.
Key Updates for Data Core
- Connectivity: 300+ adaptors for technology, cloud providers and data platforms; support for Enterprise Integration Patterns; Domain Specific Language for building data connectors; support for Sync & Async types of interactions; event-based integration
- Automation: platform-provided GitHub templates; static code analysis; security vulnerability scanning; container-based encapsulation; promotion pipelines for development, staging, and production; rollback support for production changes

- Observability: automated exception log capture; detailed trace capturing; detailed audit logs for requests and responses of data connectors; retention policies for logs and traces; heartbeat and health monitoring
Ecosystem Connectors as a Service
- More than 55 industry-specific ecosystem connectors available as a service, with a lead time to deliver new data connectors from 2-4 weeks (for typical SaaS providers) to 6-8 weeks (for more complex integrations such as core systems).
- Native cloud platform aligned with reference architectures and standards such as BIAN, ACORD, and ISO 20022.
